We offer a complimentary introductory consultation to get to know you and introduce ourselves to you and your family:

Fact Find Consultation
We will identify your financial goals and needs at this meeting, analyse your situation, and research a range of options applicable to you. We will also complete a Risk Profile Questionnaire to determine your appetite for investment risk.

Statement of Advice (SoA) Presentation and  Discussion
At this meeting, we will provide you with a comprehensive written Statement of Advice (SoA), detailing our recommendations, as well as how they will address your financial goals and needs. The SoA will also contain a schedule of all relevant fees and charges associated with our recommendations, as well as the relevant Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs).

Implementation
Should you wish to proceed with our advice, we will then move to implement your Financial Plan following the completion of the required documentation. Following implementation, we will provide you with an updated schedule of your investments and other details.

Ongoing Review Process
We offer regular reviews and updates to your Financial Plan as your current circumstances and the economic environment change, to ensure that your Financial Plan remains on track to achieve your goals. We build long-term relationships with our clients and we are always available to respond to any ad-hoc enquiries or general questions.

FAQs

What do I need to bring to my initial appointment?
The main purpose of your first appointment is to establish why you are seeking financial advice, what your goals are and what you expect from us. Once the initial consultation has been arranged, you will receive an email confirmation from our office detailing the information we require for the meeting. To assist us, we ask that you bring in as many of those documents as possible.

How long is the initial appointment?
Please allow at least one hour. During this meeting, we will address your goals and objectives, current financial position and personal situation. This meeting will form the basis of our understanding of your circumstances and presents the opportunity for us to get to know each other and assess whether the services we offer will be of value to you.

What costs are involved?
MK Wealth Solutions offers the initial appointment at no charge. If you wish to engage our services, we will prepare a Statement of Advice that outlines all fees and charges associated with our services and any products we recommend as well as any ongoing fees. Ongoing fees are based on the complexity on the complexity of your situation and the services you require.

Can you set up Self-Managed Super Funds and assist me with the ongoing management?
 Yes, we provide a specialist SMSF service offering regarding both the initial set-up and annual compliance. We also offer advice on retail/industry superannuation platforms should a Self-Managed Super Fund not be an appropriate option.

Do you provide accounting/bookkeeping services?
No. We can, however, provide a referral to an accountant/bookkeeper if you do not have one. We can also liaise with your current accountant/bookkeeper if needed.

Are you able to assist with Centrelink benefit estimates?
No. Unfortunately, we do not specialise in this area. We are, however, able to refer you to someone that does.
